Situated in a quiet village north of Hexham, North Farm is a traditional Northumberland farmhouse that has a feel of old style living twinned with modern conveniences. The village is well situated for Kielder, Hadrian's wall, Hexham and the wider amenities of Northumberland
The farmhouse has four large bedrooms, two en-suite, with seven beds in total. It is very comfortable for eight people, suitable for all ages, but there are steps and staircases.
The farmhouse is suitable for couples, a group or a collection of families.
Where we are!
Gunnerton, Hexham
North Farm is right on the edge of Gunnerton, Hexham. It is situated to the north of Hadrian's wall, but it sits on the Whin SIll, the crags that most of the wall runs along. North Farm sits in view of Gunnerton Crag and the Hell's Pike. The Farm is 1.5 miles from the A68 and 8 miles north of the A69 at Hexham.
Cosy, Comfortable, Spacious

Tastefully updated, we have kept as many of the original features as we could. The farmhouse has been described as "similar to a National Trust" property. There is exposed stonework in the living room, showing the enormous lintels quarried from the farm. The property has the original sash windows, but remains cosy because of the large wood burner, open fire and central heating.

Large King size Bed
This is a south-facing room, it also has a small reading area to the central front area of the room. The room has just been re-decorated after having an en-suite bathroom installed. There is a large wardrobe for stroage and a dressing table, plus a full length mirror.
Double and single beds
This room is the same size as the big room but does not have the reading area. It is set with a small double bed and a single for two people to have flexible sleeping arrangements. The room is south facing with lots of wardrobe space and a dressing table and a full length mirror and an en-suite bathroom.
Lounge
The lounge is large and comfortable with a 40 inch TV with a Roku box attached. There is a large wood burner and there is wood provided for the first few nights. There are instructions to help with starting the wood burner. There is a large four seater sofa and two antique wing chairs.
Cosy double and single
This is a smaller room, but still capable of fitting a small double bed and a single bed for two people to have flexible sleeping arrangements. There is ample storage in a large wardrobe and there is a good sized mirror.
Twin room
This room has a good view of the farm and was traditionally the farmer's room as he could have the best view of the farm buildings and the fields. There is an ornamental fireplace, which is now non-working. there is a dressing table and mirror and ample storage
Family/dining room
The family dining room is well appointed with a table seating 8 and two comfortable easy chairs. There is an open fire, a piano, a rocking horse and a small TV with Chromecast attached.
